When I Was Younger

I wasn’t this wise. I didn’t know how much people cared and loved for me. I can honestly say up until recently, I often took people for granted. Friend or foe. As I start this new chapter, I turn a new leaf. There are so many people that want the best for me … to all of you: thank you. From all of the classmates that I met in Columbia and Chapel Hill, I am really grateful. I’ll remember all of these memories — how precious they were. Look forward to continuous learning and growing; moving forward and getting smarter. So THANK YOU; today I’m humble and grateful. I haven’t done everything on my own and because of these people I know now I don’t want to.

My father who is my “Mr. Mom.”
My sister who is growing every day and a beautiful mom and person.
And lastly, all of the women in my life who have filled in during my life in the absence of my mother: aunts, cousins, teachers, and my friends’ mothers.
